Class starts tomorrow and if it is any indication to how it will be ... who knows... what I do know that people from all over the world are in class. It may be the largest class I have ever attended.
It reminds me if the large university class I have heard about but never attended. We are all in this together to gain so knowledge from one another. I believe it is historical.

My Pottery

My Studio

Pottery is my art of choice now. I built a studio in my bedroom and move out into the living room to sleep. It has a wheel, tables, every tools I need, and lots of bookshelves. Saturday I will attend a workshop with a friend in a new pottery studio. I can finally fire my BBQ's I have been working on for years. I am also planning to purchase a new kiln myself in the near future. This I will store at my sons garage. I make many things for him. I completed a fountain with the Sicilian symbol on it, and a birdhouse. I hope to have many more projects this year.

About Me

About 25 years ago when the first computers were developed a friend turned me on to computers, and the rest is history. From the time I had my first Apple computer -A Mac II CI-I was hooked. I could have all kind of information at my fingertips, I could create newsletters, do art work, all on the computer. It was in black and white but it amazed me nonetheless. I even took classes online when they were only bulletin boards.
Now, I teach online. I have built my classes, worked on MOOC's, and I am stuck to the computer 24-7.
I have even built myself a gaming PC to play my Left4Dead.
Where is online education going? I see in the distant future where schools will be turned into data centers, and a virtual classroom will be in your living room. I see a world of information at our fingertips as we walk through a savannah observing all the animals. Or, visiting planets in a virtual spaceship that allows me to interact with the controls.
It is a future of dreams.
